Projects in Lorne (2017)

The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee are the active land managers for the Lorne Central Foreshore. They are conducting a range of projects in Lorne over 2017 / 2018 and are seeking community feedback.

The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee manages 8km of Lorne coastal reserves that extends from North Lorne to Queens Park and the Cumberland River.

Beach Access Ramps
The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee is seeking feedback from beachgoers on how they use the three main boat ramps along the Great Ocean Road to help guide future planning in the area.

Erskine River Master Plan
Erskine River Master Plan, establishes a long-term vision and plan to guide the future use and development of the Erskine Peninsula Precinct and Erskine Paddock Landscape Plan in Lorne over the next ten years.

Lorne Central Foreshore Master Plan
The Lorne Central Foreshore Master Plan was developed in 2015 in consultation with the Lorne community on the future management of the Crown land reserves.

Point Grey Business Plan
The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee is undertaking a business case to identify a suitable option to fund the future use and development of this precinct.

Queens Park Reserve Master Plan
The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee has been working closely with the Friends of Queens Park to upgrade tracks and signage in the park. Feedback is now being sought on the proposed track routes, names and the new visual style and logos for the park.
