Anglesea - Surf Coast Walk and boatramp
The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee (GORCC) has commenced works on two areas around Demon's Bluff, Anglesea.
1) Fencing to address the immediate risk to visitors at the boatramp. The exisiting fenceline will be moved in the short-term, which will limit the size of boats people can take down the ramp and keep people away from the eroded edge, while we explore long-term options.
2) GORCC will be re-routing the section of the Surf Coast Walk along the Demon’s Bluff cliff-top to the existing loop walk, following engineering advice that the cracks in the cliff are presenting a risk to visitors. The area along the cliff-top will be re-planted, while we look at the longer-term solution.
GORCC is seeking your feedback on how you currently enjoy this area of the coastline with a short-survey to help inform management options.
